Getting started with your new website is simple. Just complete our online REQUEST FOR A CONSULTATION and/or call us for a phone consultation. We will discuss your specific needs and create a package that will meet them. After your package is determined, you will receive a “Getting Started” email that will include a customer agreement, deposit invoice and online marketing questionnaire. You can use the existing written content on your site or submit new written content to us. Once we receive your Getting Started packet back from you, your web design will begin. It’s just that simple!
Learn More About How To Determine What Your Website Needs Are.
It depends on the scope and size of your website. For standard informational websites that are less than 10 pages, we normally will have a full draft of your site completed within 7 - 10 business days. For larger sites, e-commerce sites or sites with enhanced features, it may take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks (sometimes longer for very large projects) for a draft of your site to be complete. Your web design process begins after we receive your Getting Started packet and content.
You can keep the same number of pages that you currently have or modify that. Some clients add new pages, combine existing pages, and/or delete pages altogether. There are a variety of factors to weigh when deciding how many pages you need your website to have. Important factors to consider include your budget, the amount of written content you have prepared (or can prepare), and how many pages your competitors have on their sites. Also, keep in mind, you can always add pages to your website in the future. You should also note that robust content is great for SEO.
Yes, during the development phase you will be able to submit revisions via email after your complete draft is finished. Up to 3 sets of revisions may be submitted to ensure that the design meets your expectations and needs. Additional revisions beyond this may include extra design costs. You can also revise or add to an existing site that we designed. Simply email us your updates and will respond with a quote and estimated completion date.
UX, or User Experience, is the experience that a user has while interacting with your website. This is important for both website performance, SEO and conversions. Users should easily be able to find and access desired information on your website. Visitors should instantly know who you are, what you offer, the area you serve, and how to reach you. User experience is always a priority with all of our web designs.
Once your new website is live, it is important to promote it. Let all of your existing and potential clients know that you just had a website makeover. This announcement should be made via email marketing, social media posts, and networking. Your website address should be included on all your marketing materials, including business cards, flyers, email signatures, and brochures. You will also want to submit your new website sitemap to all the major search engines.
