Learn More About How To Determine What Your Website Needs Are.
It depends on the scope and size of your website. For standard CMS websites less than 10 pages, we normally will have a full draft of your site completed within 7 - 10 business days. For larger sites, e-commerce sites or sites with enhanced features, it may take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks (sometimes longer for very large projects) for a draft of your site to be complete. Your web design process begins after we receive your Getting Started packet and content.
There is no set answer to this question. There are a variety of factors to weigh when deciding how many pages you need your website to have. Important factors to consider include your budget, how much written content you have prepared (or can prepare), and how many pages your competitors have on their sites. Also, keep in mind, you can always add pages to your website in the future.
Yes, during the development phase you will be able to submit revisions via email after your initial design is finished. Up to 3 sets of revisions may be submitted to ensure that the design meets your expectations and needs. Additional revisions beyond this may include extra design costs. You can also revise or add to an existing site that we designed. Simply email us your updates and will respond with a quote and estimated completion date.
Putting together compelling content for your website is important. Reviewing your competitors' websites that rank well on search engines is a great way to start this process, but be sure to write your own original content. Your website content should highlight your company's competitive advantages and specific products and/or services. Tell visitors how to get in contact with you and why they should do business with you. Answer common questions you receive from clients with your website content.
UX, or User Experience, is the experience that a user has while interacting with your website. This is important for both website performance, SEO and conversions. Users should easily be able to find and access desired information on your website. Visitors should instantly know who you are, what you offer, the area you serve, and how to reach you. User experience is always a priority with all of our web designs.
Once your new website is live, it is important to promote it. Your new website should be included in all your marketing materials, including business cards, email signatures, social media profiles, flyers, and brochures. You will also want to submit your new website to all the search engines and add it to all your online business profiles. It is a good idea to send out an e-blast announcing your new website to existing and potential clients. (If you take our SEO services with your website, many of these things will be done for you.)
